Earn Cash Using Facebook: Simple and Easy

I’m always online on Facebook. I have met different kinds of friends. There are students, out-of-school youth, businessmen, gamers and many more.

Since Facebook is a popular social network, people use it not only to communicate and socialize but began to use it as a medium in marketing business and recruiting or inviting people to join under them. People like them used to tag me to their pyramid or networking programs. Because of the desire to have a job, I almost fall down to these scams in which the popular tagline is “Earn Cash Using Facebook: Simple and Easy. No Requirements Needed. Just Internet and Time."

How about you? Have you joined such business?

Life with the Kids

Every weekday, I cooked food for my cousins in the morning then accompany them in going to school. At 11 am, I fetch them to eat lunch, do some homeworks, play or take a nap and accompany them again at 12:30 pm. Their class is until 4 pm. While waiting for their class dismissal, I usually take a nap or browse the internet.

After my cousins have been brought home, they changed their clothes, watch TV, play outside or surf the net. At 6:30 pm, they should have cleaned their bodies ready to eat dinner. After dinner, I help them do their assignments or projects.

How to Prepare Malunggay Siomai

Yesterday, my uncle showed us how to prepare malunggay siomai. It was my first time to hear about it and taste it. Here I share you the ingredients and the procedure. This may differ from other people’s +recipe because this is my uncle’s special recipe. :D

Ingredients:
250 grams ground pork
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/8 cup carrots, grated

1/8 cup singkamas (mexican yam), chopped (This is optional)
2 bundles malunggay leaves, roughly chopped
1 leeks or green onion, cut into slits
soy sauce

siomai wrapper
egg
sesame oil
calamansi extract

Procedure:
Put the ground pork inside a bowl then put the Mexican yam, carrots, onion and spring onion, too. Next, mix the malunggay leaves, sesame oil and egg to serve as binder or to make the ingredients stick together. Form the mixture into balls then wrap each ball with siomai wrapper then place them in the steamer and steam for about 15 minutes.

For the sauce, mix the calamansi extract, soy sauce and sesame oil.

After 15 minutes, malunggay siomai is now ready to serve. Enjoy!

What I Usually do on Sundays

Today is Sunday and it is the day to worship God. I always attend church on Sundays in the afternoon at 4:30 pm. In the morning, I accompany my four cousins, 3 girls and 1 boy, to attend the church service dedicated to 4-12 years old children.

Usually, I ride on my bike every time I go to church. After the worship, I go home and change my clothes then ride on my bike again and roam the neighbourhood. I could go around the vicinity for 1-2 hours then after that, I have to go home to help prepare food for dinner.

Teaching at Home

I am neither a teacher nor a tutor. I just teach my cousins and help them do their assignments and projects. I also help them review their books and notes to be prepared before their examination day. I often teach them English, Math and Filipino subject. Sometimes, my head is aching due to reading and finding out what are the best answers to their questions or assignments. I also have to read thoroughly which makes me feel annoyed. It just makes me feel sleepy and tired. I don’t want to bring back those times I need to study my books.

Dropped to my Friend’s Place

Last night, I went to my friend’s house at the nearby town, Sta. Cruz. I took a bath first, changed clothes then walked going to the jeep terminal. It was already late so I had to wait for the jeep to pass.

When I arrived at my friend’s house, he bought a 500ml red horse for me. We talked about everything. When I already finished one bottle, he got another 500ml red horse then chatted again as if there’s no tomorrow. When I already finished the second bottle, I had to bid goodbye. He accompanied me to the transit stop going home. I immediately brushed my teeth and washed my face and slept.

Our Backyard

You can see plants (herbs, shrubs, trees) everywhere inside our compound. It is like a park. A variety of fruit trees are scattered encircling the big house. The following are the tall trees I can name:
  1. Rambutan
  2. Santol (Wild Mangosteen)
  3. Lanzones
  4. Mangga (Mango)
  5. Saging (Banana)
  6. Avocado
  7. Bayabas (Guava)
  8. Langka (Jackfruit)
  9. Suha (Pomelo)
  10. Guyabano (Soursop)
  11. Kamias (Averrhoa bilimbi)
  12. Kamatsili (Monkeypod)

We also have bell peppers, siling labuyo (bird's eye chillies), basil and oregano which are essentials in cooking Filipino dishes. Some vegetables are also planted on garden beds which I and my uncle grow and tend. It is very peaceful here in our backyard, there are many birds, butterflies and dragonflies flying and playing on the trees and the fresh air could make me sleep easily.

A Little Disaster

It was very noisy here yesterday night because the friends of my uncle came here to visit and they had a get-together. They drank and had a mini-party at the rooftop. There are some musical instruments upstairs so they also played those.

It was a kind of reunion because some of the friends of uncle are working in Manila and election time is one of those days they can only see each other. It was past midnight when they finished their session. After that, I cleaned the studio room where they stay and the rooftop. It was kind of messy but had to clean up.

BED

My title is bed it’s not because I like to sleep but because it is the acronym for Barangay Election Day. Today is the Election Day but I didn’t go to the precinct because I am not yet registered to vote. I am left at home with my four naughty little cousins. My aunt and uncle voted early.

I also woke up early to prepare food for me and my cousins. I prepared beef loaf with scrambled egg. We ate a lot. My stomach was full. Today is so enjoyable but also irritating because my cousins are frolicsome that I can’t concentrate with my home chores.

United Nations School Parade

Today, a celebration of the United Nations Day was held in my niece's school. They paraded in different costumes representing different countries this morning. They strut down in the streets of our barangay showing off their assigned beautiful national costumes. This celebration is being held every year on the month of October. This is to support international peace, harmony and unity.

I am the photographer for the day so I accompanied my niece in the parade. She looks stunning in her yellow and orange Hanbok, the traditional Korean dress. South Korea is the country she represents. It was a tiring and hot day but it's fun to join in a parade after so many years.

Cleaning the Surroundings

It is so sunny today. I woke up early to do home chores outside the house. I cleaned up the terrace in front and rear of the house. I brushed the tiles and the grills, making sure everything is clean, shiny and smooth. If it is raining, it is hard to clean so I am enjoying the heat of the sun making the surroundings clean and pleasant to look at.

I also swept the backyard. We have a lot of trees and shrubs around the house so there are a lot of falling leaves and twigs to pick up . I also cut the grass on our lawn to look more beautiful.

Watching Movies at Home

One of my favourite hobbies is watching movies. I love watching horror movies which are mostly Asian like those movies from Japan, Korea and Thailand. When it comes to love story, I prefer Korean movies and for action, I’d go for English.

Since some Asian movies cannot be watched on cinema or they don’t show them on cinema, I usually look for websites that offer free movie downloads or free movie streaming. Some sites don’t allow download so I need speedy internet connection to watch the full movie in just one sitting. Grateful that there is no problem with our internet service provider and it offers faster internet than others.

If you know some websites where to watch Asian movies, please recommend. Thanks.

What is Love?

For me, love is a very important aspect of life. It is a pleasant feeling, giving so much happiness. Before I found her, my life is a mess. I sleep, eat and play games all day. I didn't have worries but myself.
When we met, everything has changed. I learned how to dream, I started to have ambitions, want to be happy and go on with a new, fresh life. I started to value money, not to waste it. Money is very important in a relationship because if there’s no money, you can’t date, you can’t eat together, you can’t buy gifts for each other. And you can’t save for your future. So I struggled to get a job.

Because of her, I quit smoking, drinking alcohol, gambling, playing too much dota and going out with my vicious friends. There a lot of things that has changed when she came into my life. I have changed for the better. I know she’s my true love, my angel. Being in love is the greatest feeling of all. I will do everything for her. I want to marry and spend the rest of my life with her.
